DOES IT MATTER AT ALL?
You make the best of what is available to you, to some people this is their orientation. This old man seems to be pretty content with his situation if he can even get sleep in such uncomfortable circumstances. He is a cleaner of a corridor stretch that links two gates, he is also a messenger and a watchman. He sleeps on the veranda with out protective gear and that is where his few belongs are (a bowl, a dish, a big bottle, mingling stick). He has old carpet pieces that pose for a bed and ply wood to brave the hard floor. His attitude is totally different, he is drunk most of the time. I believe sleeping outside year in year out requires some bravery mechanisms such as those applied by this old man. Socially, emotionally and economically this person is challenged hence his mode of life style. Probably if he had a better place to live, he would live life differently.
YOUR BEDROOM CAN BE YOUR REFLECTION
In most cases how we present ourselves speaks volumes about where we live.Such a neatly done floor with clean walls and mirrors all over the room influences the room owner to be mind full of her appearance and general outlook about life. Such a room impacts on the owner principles of orderliness because the mirrors offer reflection which rings a bell even in all other activities outside the room. Because of this setting, such a person is always conscious and tries to live life neatly so that the legacy left behind reflections the true person.
HOW DOES WHERE A PERSON LIVES IMPACT HOW S/HE LIVES?
MEALS ARE ALSO IMPACTED UPON
Life presents us with lots of opportunities, challenges, memories in our per suite for improvement.
For example, students living in a hostel are forced to work together, have concern for one another especially as regards meals since it is a shared venture. It is evident that one serves what is appropriate in consideration of others and at a certain time which may not be the case back in their homes.Such a living activates collective responsibility for the good of all who have to share the meal. Additionally students have to eat what has been served or quietly seek options. Indeed where we live to some extent influences how we live.
